Hugo is a hardworking and meticulous Naarm-based cinematographer from Aotearoa. Hugo is a member of the New Zealand Cinematographers Society (NZCS) and the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS), admitted for his work on commercial and narrative projects.

Hugo established The Social Lens in 2022 to provide employment opportunities and career advancements for neurodivergent and disabled individuals in the film industry.

 

Hugo continues to be passionate about the science behind light and imagery, and he combines traditional methods with contemporary technology to produce captivating commercials and acclaimed films.
